Sinai opens his second verse saying, “Many people live like they don’t need you/ and some of us even claim we can be you/“. If you take a look at the state of the world we live in, those words carry so much truth. All throughout the media we can see God being forced out and Sinai directly addresses the many ways it’s happening. He speaks of a period in his life when he tried to live without God. Then he shifts gears and speaks of how the world is doing the same thing, while emphasizing the fact that it won’t work without Him.
