UK-based Nigerian gospel music artist and prolific songwriter Joshua Ighomena has released his long-awaited album, “Welcome Holy Spirit,” a worship project centered on the presence and person of the Holy Spirit.
The album’s lead single, also titled “Welcome Holy Spirit,” was birthed during moments of prayer and intercession. The song expresses a deep longing to prepare hearts to receive and welcome the Holy Spirit, our divine Helper, Enabler, and God.
Through this spirit-filled melody, Joshua Ighomena invites listeners into a deeper atmosphere of worship, surrender, and communion with the Holy Spirit.
Joshua Ighomena encourages everyone to listen not only to the lead single but also to the entire album, which consistently points listeners to the Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Background music starts
Holy Spirit, you are welcome, you are welcome here
Holy Spirit, you are welcome, you are welcome here
We are ready for this moment, we are waiting for this moment, you are welcome here
Let your spirit come and fill this room like the days of Pentecost, you are welcome here
Let your fire fall again, with the tongues of flames on our heads, you are welcome here
Let your fire fall again; I am here for you on my knees, you are welcome here
Holy Spirit, you are welcome, you are welcome here
We are calling for you Abba Father, Holy Spirit, you are welcome, you are welcome here
We are ready for this moment; we are waiting for this moment, you are welcome here
Let your spirit come and fill this room like the days of Pentecost, you are welcome here
Let your fire fall again, with the tongues of flames on our heads, you are welcome here
Let your fire fall again; I am here for you on my knees; you are welcome here
Holy Spirit, you are welcome, you are welcome here
Holy Spirit, you are welcome, you are welcome here
Holy Spirit, you are welcome, you are welcome here
Holy Ghost, you are welcome here
