Singer, songwriter and recording artiste Dengiyefa Akene has announced that his new EP, “Back 2 My Roots”, will be released on February 22nd.
“Back 2 My Roots” is a musical journey of the artiste Dengiyefa Akene. In this new release, he highlights sounds from Nigeria his home country.
His words: “I was surrounded by these melodies and that shaped my musical foundation to what it is today. The song “THANK YOU” in the EP features the African rhythm and sound. It is a song of thanks to God for keeping me through the years. It’s been a process and only God is to be thanked for the journey He has brought me through and continues to take me through.
“In this EP, my goal is to create an atmosphere of gratitude. There will also be a music video shoot after the release which will feature diverse cultures.
“The EP release is on Friday 22nd of February 2019 and will be available on all major digital download platforms like apple, Spotify, google play etc.”
