According to her, “The song IGWE was birthed from a heart of gratitude of how God has kept me and I’m still waxing strong. After my separation, I thought I couldn’t cope or stand on my own without a husband, but God who has always been my husband reassured me he will never leave nor forsake me hence this joyful/celebration song -Igwe.
The message is that no matter what stones life throws at you, you can use those stones as stepping stones to grow and appreciate God that you are still alive. Many people didn’t make it through but if you have a positive and grateful mindset, you will overcome.”
