There are four ladies in St. Louis, MO who have a Hallelujah! in their soul. The all-female quartet group known as JEWELL & CONVERTED consists of four vibrant leading ladies: Jewell Taylor, Lydia Jones, Ni’Asia Hatch-Boyd, and Bablen White. Jewell & Converted began singing together in 2001 and quickly gained popularity with their ostentatious showmanship and colorful style of gospel quartet singing.
Jewell & Converted’s current project FOR REAL on Malaco Records features their latest single “Hallelujah”. The ladies recently gave the crowd a taste of their spirited showmanship and received a standing ovation at the Allstate Gospel Superfest Battle of The Bands regional Competition in Memphis, TN. They truly “brought the house down” with their live performance of “Hallelujah” and won a spot as a top three finalist in the Battle of the Bands Championship.
