J. Crum shares, “I wrote this song proclaiming the victory that we have in Christ. Many times we have the world trying to force a persona on us. They want us to talk, walk, act, and dress in a certain way. Many times I’ve run into others having the perception that because I didn’t conform to these categories that the art I create isn’t up to standard. This song really attempts to flesh out my rebuttal to those beliefs.”

He continues, “As soon as my producer, Tory Hooks sent me the beat I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I wanted to have fun, but also drive home a point. I also got the homie Eric Heron to help me on the track and I felt he added smooth dynamic to the track.”
