“Genuine Worship with a Splash of Holy Ghost vibes” – Moses Bliss – Too Faithful to Fail (Album Review) | @mosesblisslive |

There are songs that become eternally etched on your memory right after listening . Such songs, you’ll find on the ‘Too Faithful’ album by Moses Bliss. Bliss’s debut album comprises 13 songs lasting one hour and six minutes and while listening, you’ll either: dance, be covered in goosebumps, worship deeply, be in awe of the song arrangement, dance and even make a tiktok video or reel.

The elements, sound and tone of this album work together to create these specific moods:genuine worship, thanksgiving and with a splash of hip-hop and trap, Holy Ghost vibes.

The album layout line follows a hierarchical pattern such that each song ushers specific moods coordinately. The album begins with ‘count on me’ ushering a solemn, sober mood that runs from the first track to the fifth. ‘Count on me’ instills the consciousness of fulfilling the great commission and will have you think deeply if you can respond to the call like Isaiah: ‘here I am, send me’. ‘In your hands’ ‘One Yes’ are songs of total surrender and an acknowledgement of the supremacy of God. ‘Too Faithful’, Bliss’s most loved song yet and ‘You I Live For’.

Transiting from the solemn, sober mood, Bliss introduces a spot on fresh mood with ‘Spotlight’: Be in charge and shine as God has designed you to. And then, ‘God is real’ brings tears to your eyes as you ponder on the simple yet faith provoking lyrics. And from ‘Ima Mfo’ to ‘Bigger Everyday’ it’s a Holy Ghost party! The instrumentals and back up for each song is tailor made for each track and were seamless, top notch and spot on!

This album is devoid of musical cliches but bereft of lyrics that will etch themselves in your memory. Your pupils, will dilate few seconds into ‘Perfection’. It’s a groovy, up-tempo song that will have you vibing whether you’re in your car or listening with headphones. The same applies to ‘E no Dey fall my hand’. You’ll never see the smooth transition from up-tempo to trap and back in ‘Hail your name’ . And the flow to ‘Bigger Everyday’? The perfect way to seal the album.

‘Count on me’, ‘Perfection’, ‘ Bigger Everyday’ ‘Spotlight’ and ‘God is real’ . This album is the perfect mix of solemnity, sobriety, groove and Holy Ghost vibes and has a song for every mood and moment.. It is spot on and a must listen.
