On March 25th, Chicago Mass Choir won the “Traditional Choir of the Year” award at the 2017 Stellar Gospel Music Awards in Las Vegas, NV. They were also nominated in the “Choir of the Year” and “Traditional CD of the Year” categories for their project, We Give You Praise on New Haven Records.
This Award-Winning choir, closed out the Stellar Gospel Music Awards Show, performing their hit single, “Thank You Jesus”. As an added treat, Chicago Mass Choir was honored to perform with the Legendary, Donnie McClurkin on his new single, “I Need You”.
Chicago Mass Choir President, Dr. Feranda Williamson, accepted their award, with grace and excitement and also honored the choir’s late founder, James C. Chambers.
