As a pastor’s kid and long-time worship leader, Tasha has developed her gifts as a songwriter and psalmist to become a nationally recognized minister.
Tasha was born the only daughter to Bishop Fritz and Lady Bertha Cobbs and raised in Jesup, GA. She grew up surrounded by a God-fearing, musical family, so her love for God and for music came as no surprise. As she grew and matured, so did her gifts.
Her writing ability is exceptional! Her ability to capture Heaven’s melodies and release them in the earth is necessary! Her voice is indeed a powerful instrument! Without a doubt, her musical gifting has made room for her and clearly speaks for itself; however, Tasha Cobbs is more than just a song.
She is a Servant… Faithful and submitted, Tasha served her biological father, Bishop Fritz Cobbs for years at her home church before relocating to Atlanta in 2006. She now serves her spiritual father and Pastor, Pastor William H. Murphy, III at the dReam Center church of Atlanta as the Pastor of Worship. She also serves as the Worship Leader for the Young Adult Division of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International – presiding Bishop, Bishop Paul S. Morton.
She is a teacher… Although young in age, she has knowledge and wisdom well beyond her years. She has a deep revelation of Worship and she shares that revelation with worshippers around the world. As a Worship BRIDGE Tasha shares her God-given insight with worship leaders across the world on how to effectively and consistently access God’s Presence.
She is a Worshipper… The undying Love, devotion, and passion Tasha has for God is undeniable. Yes, it is true that we all enjoy the fruit of her gift of song – but there is no mistaking WHO Tasha is ministering FOR and who she is and ministering TO, when she stands behind a microphone. Tasha prays daily that God would “keep her humbled at his feet and never take HIS anointing away.”
Tasha is currently signed to EMI Gospel and she is working on a new project titled “GRACE” produced by VaShawn Mitchell and is to be released February 2013.
