Damilola Anjorin is a Gospel Minister, Song writer and a devout Worshipper. She recently released a single titled ‘Great I Am’ (E tobi to) off an upcoming Album titled ‘God of Grace’.
According to Damilola, “What inspired Great I Am is the realization of how Awesome God is, and this stemmed from many personal encounters with God from childhood to teenage life and as an Adult. My music carries the evidence of the Supremacy of God over all, my kind of music reverence God and my vision is to minister songs that uplifts the human spirit and draws men closer to God. My mission as a Gospel Artist is to render professional music that is Spiritual, Soulful, Engaging, and Meaningful to the listener (SSEM).
I wrote this song about 15 years ago while meditating in my yard, it was the cool of the evening and I examined the cloud, the moon, and the stars, the sound of gentle breeze. That was the point when the Holy-spirit impressed the song upon my heart. Damilola who has been singing for over 20 years, but started her professional Musical Career in 2019, said “Music is life to me, and Worship for me is the easiest channel to experience God. I recently felt a push to share my love for Music with the world, and I pray that you experience the move of God as you Worship”. This worship song is a total expression of God’s Greatness and Awesomeness, at times when I have no words to describe him; I just chant one of his numerous names, The Great I Am.
Damilola Anjorin was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. Ms. Anjorin has a CAC background, she was raised in a Missionary Home owned by her grandparents, Pastor E. A. Daniel who is her Maternal Grandfather is the General Overseer of Anointed Apostolic Church in Lagos, Nigeria. Damilola Anjorin served as a worker at the Apostolic Church for 20 years before changing denomination. She served as a Worship Leader, Church Interpreter and Events Coordinator. She graduated with a B.Sc. in Political Science and International Relations and worked in the Aviation Industry in Lagos for a few years. She then moved to the U.S. to further her education, where she earned a degree in MBA and MSM. Damilola Anjorin is currently based in the United States of America; she is a Polymath with a career in Business Consulting, Brand Management, and Education.
