Niki Heat Entertainment is pleased to announce the release of “Triompher” by their contemporary gospel artist AkuBai. It is her second single following the award-winning debut “Yahweh”.
“Triompher” is a praise and worship song inspired from 2 Corinthians 2:14a and celebrates the Almighty God for faithfully granting victory to his people. “This year has been very difficult for many people because of COVID-19, the Anglophone Crisis and more recently the Kumba Massacre. However, with this song, I just want us to celebrate God’s faithfulness for not abandoning his people” said AkuBai.
Thanks to the success of “Yahweh’, AkuBai has racked up multiple national and international nominations. In October, she won her first international award, picking up a Media Choice Award at the Gospel Touch Music Awards in London, UK. She also received nominations for Gospel Artist of the Year at the 2020 Muzikol Awards, Green Light Awards, and Transgenerational Forces Impact Awards.
Sung in English, French and local Cameroonian dialects, the song’s up-tempo beat and danceable melody will no doubt be the celebratory song of the end of this year.
