Ace juju singer, Yinka Ayefele is one of the finest music exports from Nigeria who has continued to push Nigerian music beyond boundaries.
The singer who survived a ghastly auto crash few years ago that damaged his spinal cord and confined him to wheelchair shared his greatest regret during his performance at the recently held #LifeAsISeeIt mega concert in Lagos.
According to Yinka Ayefele, majority of individuals who are able to stand on both feet do not know the importance of what God has done in their lives. “Some of us standing in front of me right now do not understand the wonders God Almighty has done in our lives. We are here to celebrate the rebirth of another individual whom God has given another chance after his successful brain surgery.”
“Sometimes, there are some things we appreciate we had in life and some other we also regret not having. How I wish I had another chance at life and I can stand on both feet the same way Julius Agwu and everyone in the hall is standing right now?,” he added rhetorically.
A multiple award winning artist, Yinka Ayefele has over 18 albums to his name since his debut with ‘Bitter Experience’ in 1998. He briefly had a stint at Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Ibadan where he worked as journalist and broadcaster before his life defining automobile accident.
