Virginia’s Premier Award winning choir Patrick Riddick & D’vyne Worship are proud to announce The Ready College Tour, a spin off of The Sunday Mornin’ READY Tour. The Ready College Tour is geared towards College Gospel Choirs. Universities across the country can now bring Patrick Riddick (PR) or Patrick Riddick & D’vyne Worship (PRDW) to their homecoming, gospel concerts or anniversaries. PRDW is fresh off of a performance at the historical Ohio State University Campus and are looking to share with college’s across the globe.
“In an era where choir music has been considered to be on the decline, here surfaces a powerhouse choir that completely debunks this school of thought,” states Gerard Bonner of Bonnerfide Radio. Earlier this year, PRDW released their stand out project READY (Powerful Music Group/New Day Distribution) which saw instant success by debuting at #4 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart. READY features classic choir tunes such as, “For The God Of Them” and “Revive Us”. Riddick displays his own pinmenship on the mid-tempo groove, “Clap Your Hands” and the praise heavy, “Let Him Come In”. The choir recently performed and opened at the 31st Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards Pre-Show in Las Vegas.
Riddick has served as the Worship Pastor to several of the top-tiered churches within the Hampton Roads Region. Revered by many as a true gospel choirmaster, he has often been noted for his tremendous ability to write, arrange and produce music that is stirring and always appropriate for worship. He is best celebrated for his flamboyant, aggressive, high energy, yet technical style of choir directing. He currently serves under his mentor Ricky Dillard as assistant choir director for GRAMMY-nominated, Stellar Award winning choir Ricky Dillard & New G.
PRDW; a 50+ voice choral aggregate which sings not only gospel and contemporary songs, but anthems as well. Riddick serves as the VA 2nd Jurisdiction’s State Minister of Music COGIC, Quorum of Directors for the International Music Department COGIC and holds a seat on the Contemporary Adult Division Board of GMWA. PR frequently travels the country, as he is called upon to serve as guest conductor, vocalist, clinician, lecturer and evangelist.
