Ugandan Christian hip hop artiste, Waade has released a new single titled “Nga Yesu”.
Sharing the inspiration behind the song, Waade said; “Nga Yesu ” the word is in Luganda my local language, meaning ; like Jesus / as Jesus”.
This song is in a subgenre of hip hop known as Christian Rap/Afrogospel.
The song “Nga Yesu ” calls for Christians to act like Jesus in every situation of life they are going through.
At times we get hurt, lose it and do something terrible which ends up ruining our lives and future. So, before acting stupid, people should always ask them selves “What Would Jesus Do” WWJD.
Its not an easy thing to do since we are humans. But with this song, Waade is calling on us to at least try to be like Jesus in tough situations. Cause actions speak louder than words

THE BACK STORY
WAADE journey as an artist began at a young age of 15 and was inspired by listening to a wide variety of music. He was more drawn to the Hip Hop genre. when an opportunity presented itself by a friend in Rukungiri a district found in the western part of Uganda, who happened to have a small studio setup in the living room, WAADE started recording and exercising his writing and rapping skills. few years later WAADE took it up and went all the way to this day. Now he has quite a number of music projects under his name. According to the observation done, this is just the beginning of his journey because WAADE proves there is more to claim in the music industry as far as hip hop and rap is concerned.
