Nollywood actress and public figure Tonto Dikeh has officially unveiled a new Christian ministry, the New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), in Abuja, describing it as an interdenominational spiritual home and movement for believers seeking revival, prayer, and deeper spiritual growth.

Dikeh announced the ministry on Sunday, August 9, 2026, through her social media platform. According to her announcement, NWPT is designed as an “interdenominational altar, spiritual home and global movement of consecrated believers,” rather than a conventional church structure.

The ministry is focused on prayer, revival, spiritual training, transformation, and the awakening of committed believers. Its stated vision is to see consecrated Christians experience God’s presence and become agents of spiritual transformation in their communities and nations.

The name New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle draws from the biblical imagery of new wine and new wineskins in Mark 2:22, reflecting the ministry’s emphasis on renewal and readiness for what God is doing.

As part of its activities, NWPT will hold weekly fellowship meetings every Friday at 6:00 p.m. in Abuja. Reports identify the meeting location as Omini Grand Hotel, formerly Alexis Hotel, upstairs by Masalachi Junction, Jabi, Abuja.

The launch represents another significant development in Dikeh’s increasingly public Christian journey. In recent months, she has shared her faith more openly and participated in various Christian activities, including preaching and prayer ministry.

While her background in the Nigerian entertainment industry has naturally generated considerable public interest in the announcement, the ministry’s stated focus is on creating a platform for believers from different Christian backgrounds to come together in prayer, fellowship, spiritual growth, and revival.

With the launch of New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle, Tonto Dikeh is beginning a new chapter of public service centred on Christian ministry, with Abuja serving as the initial base for the fellowship and its broader vision of reaching believers beyond Nigeria.

The New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle is scheduled to hold its weekly fellowship every Friday at 6:00 p.m. in Abuja.
