Introducing Congolese born Gospel music minister, CELVA BOUNGOU, Born 11 May in Pointe-Noire Republic of Congo. Celva joined the EEC Sunday school choir as a teenager in 1995 and she has never looked back since then.
Celva wrote her first song at the age of 13 years. She started music professionally in 2005, when she was featured in the album Sida Fin les Pieds dans L’O in 2005.
She obtained an engineering degree in Chemical Engineering at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology at Cape Town South Africa and a certificate in Risk management analysis HIRA at IRCA Global Company.
“Strong Tower” is the first single from her soon to be released 5 track debut album which will be released later in the year.
According to Celva, the book of Psalm 61:3 is the inspiration behind the song “Strong Tower”.
“What inspires the song is the Name of the Lord is a strong Tower; the Righteous runs to it and he’s saved (psalm 61 :3 ; proverbs 18 :10 ; psalm 9 :10). The Righteous must call upon and run to the Name of the Lord for salvation. The Name of the Lord is our strong Tower ; pillar; shield; rock; refuge”, She said.
