After a highly-anticipated release of her first album “Season of Joy”, Gospel star and Minneapolis native Joy Mobley is back again with a new EP titled “Don’t Turn Around”.
“Don’t Turn Around” is an EP filled with songs that are upbeat, relatable and sure to feed your spirit at the same time. It offers encouragement and strength through Jesus Christ to keep going, despite life’s struggles. Thankfulness and love are messages heard throughout the EP as well.
What makes this project so unique is the production behind it. Not only are all of the songs original, but they were co-written by Mrs. Mobley and Chip Dixon of Chipper Kreations, Inc. Mr. Dixon is a well-known producer in the music industry who has worked with various artists such as Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp, William Murphy, Bishop Paul Morton and The Winans Family just to name a few. Mr. Dixon has also worked with mainstream artists in R&B such as P. Diddy, Dark Child, New Edition and many more.
This is sure to produce a diverse body of music that many listeners will be able to connect to.
Despite the new infusion of genres, Mrs. Mobley promises not to venture too far away from her roots, which are in gospel.
