Two Categories For the 58th Annual Awards

RCA Inspiration celebrates four nominations for the 58th GRAMMY® Awards, with artists Kirk Franklin (Fo Yo Soul Recordings/ RCA Records), Travis Greene (RCA Inspiration) and Israel Houghton & Newbreed (RGM NewBreed/ RCA Inspiration) garnering nods in two different categories.

Five-time GRAMMY Award winners Israel Houghton & Newbreed are nominated in the Best Gospel Album (Covered: Alive In Asia” (Deluxe) and Best Gospel Performance/Song (“How Awesome Is Our God” featuring Yolanda Adams) categories. And nine-time GRAMMY winner Kirk Franklin and stand-out newcomer Travis Greene are recognized in the Best Gospel Performance/Song category for “Wanna Be Happy?” and “Intentional,” respectively. “Wanna Be Happy?” is Franklin’s latest single off of his recently released #1 album Losing My Religion and “Intentional” is the #1 single from Greene’s major label debut, The Hill.

The 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards will air on CBS on Sunday, February 15, 2016 at 8pm EST.
