Praise DC’s 104.1 Presents Charles Butler with MVP Award During Their 10th Annual Spirit of Praise Concert | @CharlesButlerJr |

On Saturday, October 7th, DC’s Praise 104.1 and WYCB 1340 celebrated their 10th Annual Spirit of Praise concert, held at City of Praise in Landover, MD. A star-studded line-up that featured acts including, Vashawn Mitchell, Ricky Dillard, J.J. Hairston, Erica Campbell, Tina Campbell, and D.C.’s own multiple Stellar Award nominated choir, Charles Butler and Trinity, to name a few performed their hit songs in front of over 9,000 attendees.

In addition to the group’s performances, Praise 104.1 presented Charles Butler with The MVP Award honoring him for having done the most Spirit of Praise Performances throughout the Years.

Charles Butler & Trinity released their third project, THE BLOOD EXPERIENCE (Anointed Sounds/eOne), on September 8th and debuted at No.2 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums and Top 5 on the combined Christian/Gospel Album Sales chart. This summer, Charles set out on a new endeavor to lose weight and partnered with Radio One DC along with DeCalo Weight Loss, Wellness, and Pain Management Clinic in an effort to lose over 200 pounds – to date he has loss 80 pounds.
