R&B star, PJ Morton, has earned a BET Award nomination for his inspiring collaboration with Mary Mary and Le’Andria Johnson entitled, “All in His Plan” (Morton Inspiration/Tyscot). The bluesy-styled gospel track with a hint of 1940s Big Band nostalgia, has peaked at No. 12 thus far on the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart. It’s the first offering from Morton’s forthcoming, all-star The Gospel According to PJ collection.
Morton also earned a nomination in the BET HER Award category as the featured artist on rapper Rapsody’s latest track, “Afeni,” a warm tribute to the mother of rapper Tupac Shakur.
