YOU ARE LIFE – LYRICS

VERSE 1:

I Was once a slave, bound in the chains of sin
No freedom anywhere and no hope,
I was once lost, deeply lost in my shame
Waiting for a hero to come to set me free,
That’s when u sent your son to die, now you are life to me.

CHORUS:

You are life to me
You have set me free from sin and shame
Fear and pain
You are life to me
You have set me free from guilt and stain
Ohh you are life to me.

VERSE 2:

Now that Jesus came, he gave me a brand new life,
Now I sing a brand new song amazing grace,
No greater love than this, that a man should lay his life,
For the friend he claims to love, but Jesus did,
I am grateful lord I owe you my life
Ohh u are life to me.
