”We have looked closely at our community and discovered that the average Gospel musician is almost losing the essence of his call. This is because the foundations of the average Gospel musician now has cracks in them. We now have musicians in the Kingdom who have gone secular with the excuse that the church has failed them and the leaders of the church really do not care about them.
This pain gave birth to ADULLAM SCHOOL OF WORSHIP.
Our vision is to see healthy musicians who know their identity and influence the mountain of Arts and Entertainment.
The quest to ‘blow’ (become famous) and make money has become the driving force of some musicians in the south-south region of Nigeria. To this extent, we are saddled with the responsibility to restore the Kingdom values into the minds of the people who meet us at the Adullam School of worship which holds once in three months.
We want everyone who attends any of our editions to experience intimacy with God, freshness in ministry, and revival on their prayer altar. We are not primarily concerned with the ‘skill’ in the craft but we believe that when we have the foundations right – which is a heart thing – then we can build on the skills just like then Psalmist David who chased after God and was skillful.
We also believe that this generation is crying for mentors who will take them by the hand and show them the pathway to life. We believe everyone who stands to speak on the ASOW platform is a mentor and can undoubtedly share their life experiences so we glean from them.
In our previous edition, we had Nathaniel Bassey speak expressly to the people and it was a blast. We had testimonies from that experience and it just left the people asking for more.
Our goal is to provide a place where the musicians, actors/actresses, poets, artists, and more can come get equipped with the right skill set for this dispensation. In one phrase ‘As worship in all its forms is in heaven so we want it to be on earth’. This goal is huge so we need everyone on deck.
We sincerely appreciate our Lead Pastors, REV. BENSON AND KAY AKHIGBE II, who have given us the push to take this mountain and plant the kingdom of Heaven on it. This would not have been possible without them. We are privileged to be on this path!
Join this movement today and let us take the mountain of Arts and Entertainment for God!”
