Meet J.i.d.e a.k.a Mixmaster J, a song writer, music producer/engineer. He mixes and masters albums, hence the name. He crafted the sound of many songs on Nigerian radio, and has touched many songs that later became radio hits on air while working with countless number of artists and producers from Nigeria and beyond.
The Singapore trained engineer originally graduated with a B.sc in microbiology from O.A.U. Ile Ife, Nigeria but has also been a producer since his third year in Uni.
He has been teaching audio engineering for over a decade and continues to mentor young producers.
MmJ has a great voice and he is also a very good rapper. He currently has 3 singles on radio ‘’I Want Money?”, ‘Turn On The Lights’, and ‘Fly Away! Ft. B.O.U.Q.U.I.‘. All of which have enjoyed good radio airplay and once again, he steps from behind the curtain to release his new single “Like you mean it”.
MmJ’s love for music started as a child, singing in concerts, operettas, shows and churches. This man of many talents cannot be contained. His passion for music has also influenced other members of his family with one of them becoming the renowned female gospel rap evangelist.
MmJ has handled choirs, groups and bands producing concerts purely from his own compositions. He believes that all music should be wholesome and should add value.
Now he drops this club banger “LIKE YOU MEAN IT”.
