Gwendolyn M. Smith’s encouraging contemporary gospel music comes from a long journey of being moved by Jesus. Growing up in a Christian household, Gwendolyn felt the presence of God at a young age. Through her walk with her savior, her faith and convictions held steadfast through her childhood in her California hometown. In college, she became inspired to begin writing her own music to encourage others in their journey with Christ.
Now, her lifetime of faith and musical talent inspires and enlightens listeners with uplifting contemporary gospel music. Gwendolyn’s music reaches not only contemporary gospel listeners, but also a variety of audiences who are seeking spiritual restoration and comfort. Her debut album, “Faithful”, holds 13 encouraging songs, ranging from praising the joy of Spirit to motivational songs for times in need of God’s strength.
Gwendolyn’s powerful lyrics are inspired from the support and peace she finds in God through her own daily struggles as a single parent to an 8-year-old adopted son and as a business owner. Those lyrics, combined with crystal-like vocals and soothing harmonies, uplift, enlighten, and foster hope of Jesus for her fans.
