UK Based R&B Singer, DavidB has released the music video for “Ijo Ya.” The song that means “Time to Dance” in Yoruba, is the first single of his highly anticipated EP “Care About The Journey.” Directed by Chris Forshaw and DavidB himself, the song is about not letting the cares of life weigh you down, but instead, to be thankful for what you have. He connects with his African roots and fuses afro elements with dance and electro pop to create ‘Ijo Ya’. The message in this song is definitely brought to life as DavidB dances the night away; showing yet another side of his artistry which many might be unfamiliar with. This single is catchy and will make you dance.
In the last chapter of his 3-part Documentary, “I’m Still Here”, DavidB states ‘…I want to be remembered as a star, I want to be remembered as an icon, a LEGEND!!!’ As a matter of fact, he is very well on his way!
