Meet Storm, a multitalented artiste with a heart for God and a passion to take over the world for Christ through music.
Influenced by the likes of Kirk Franklin, Rooftop MCs, Da T.R.U.T.H, Lecrae, Flame, and Tye Tribbett amongst other gospel RAP and R&B artistes; he is steadily growing into a well renowned figure for his multi-cultural style and ability to rap and sing.
Born Calvin Mann Taddy to Mr. and Mrs. Toma Sallau Taddy in Jos, Plateau State, on the 28th of May 1989. Storm started rapping and performing while in secondary school. In 2002, he got together with his childhood best friend Abraham Davou (G-plus) and Nelson (Nel-G) to form the group S4C (Sons 4 Christ). Although the group is defunct now, he remains hooked to his friend G-plus, who is also his manager and producer and together they started the label ‘So-Tight Entertainment’ to which he (Storm) is signed to.
Storm holds a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he majored in painting. He is
presently serving as a corp member of the NYSC in Kano state, Nigeria. Credits include performances at several events including S.O.K (SoldOut Klan) Zaria Mega concert, XTREME in 2010, 2011 and 2012, SoldOut R.A.P Concert 2011, Da 2013 Gospel Mega Jam amongst other places. He has collaborated with talented musicians such as Dr. Tim, Wordsmith and Johnny Gospel.
Recently, Storm released his album “Taking Over”, which has taken the Nigerian Gospel Music Ministry by, well, we just have to use his name to describe this, STORM. Here are two singles off the album. Listen ad tell us what you think about the songs. Enjoy
