Born in the capital city of Lusaka, Zambia, Ricco Jamaal started singing at an early age with his best friend though he was also in a church group.
He only started singing professional music in 2011 with Dj Mzenga man as his vocal director. He came out as a secular artist not until he ‘re-gave’ his life to God.
In 2012 he drop his first Gospel song called “Nsendeni” (take me away) which featured Victoria macool. The song was a hit that opened a brought way for him to work with even big artists.
Ricco jamaal went international with his single “Super man” though it was a love song for his wife to be. The song received massive downloads and radio plays. He his worked with big artists like. Dj Mzenga man, Stevo, J.O.B, Flex VIlle marly, Franciar, Peter shakers, Restore city, Dj SammyE.t.c
