In May 2014, “I Love you Lord” was released and a lot of people connected to the throne of Grace as “Gracey” served a song that drew men to God. A song that was; and still on most radio station playlist.
Gracey; originally from Kogi State in Nigeria now based in Aberdeen Scotland, UK; releases her first album titled “Made For This”. The Album is an expression of her life experiences, a display of God’s favour, and show of thanks to God for the gift given to her. In her words “Some things they say come to people naturally, music has been a saving grace and the most permanent source of joy to me. I find solace in singing, listening to music and subsequently pouring out my feelings and experiences through music.”
Gracey expresses that “Made for this: came as a result of a quote she came across .”the graveyard is the richest place on earth”. l am not saying I’m going to die soon… lol, but I need to be heard, I need these songs to touch lives, change lives and most of all express my gratitude to God for taking me through every battle I’ve fought in life and still giving me the strength to carry on”. “Made for this: is the beginning of this wonderful story of my life, hopefully, there’ll be more to come. Hope it inspires everyone who comes in contact with this chapter of my life.”
“Made For This” is a 10-track album with the hit single “I Love You Lord” carefully produced, mixed and Mastered by great musicians, producers and engineers: Sampro of Rogba Multimedia, Ollyjay and Ayobami Soetan (UK based Nigerian) who all worked tenaciously to craft this beautiful work.
Gracey’s powerful vocals brings steam and grace into any environment this album will be played.. Gracey is an amazing songwriter and all the songs in this album were written by her apart from The African Praise Medley.
Gracey is a part of Sound of Many Waters in Aberdeen, organisers of Mega Gospel Concerts that have seen the likes of Ron Kenoly, Aaron T Aaron, Don Moen and a few others. She’s also a part of HeartSong who organise a yearly worship concert tagged ‘Engage’ and has featured Chevelle Franklyn, Bob Fitts and a host of other worship leaders
