Meet Koffman who’s real name is Kofu Mona, a young rap act from Balanga Local Area of Gombe State , Nigeria. As a young boy in secondary school, his interest and inspiration in rap saw him battle from street to street which transformed him into the top rated rap act in Gombe State.
He blended in with many people who shared same love for hip hop and eventually came to know people who didn’t just listen to music but also made it in music. Koffman started rapping on the streets, from secondary school in front of friends who shared the same passion with him then to concerts to share what he’s got up there, he’s widely known as ‘cough man’.
There is always a point in a man’s life where change becomes inevitable, years later, he (KoffMan) made a transition from a raw-rugged rapper to a Rapvangelist, Koffman began a journey to the right path inspired by Lecrae, Da’T.R.U.T.H, B.O.U.Q.U.I, Jay-R and his manager DavidLamar among other acts. He then made a personal decision to pursue the journey of recording rap music that glorifies God.
Currently signed to Ace Miuzik Group(AMG), Koffman has recorded and been on stage with all of Gombe’s finest gospel acts like Samdave, Bayila ‘Mr.B’ Dalaki, BlueC, Dadiyo, Hezaco, TemenRay (also signed to AMG), Sarah Abraham, Jaypulse (AMG artist), etc and also Terry Da Rapman.
