DAVID ONKA is a German based singer, songwriter and producer. He was born and raised in Africa and has achieved acceptance from listeners with his songwriting skills and amazing voice. David started professional singing as a child; wrote his first song at the age of 8 and through the years developed into an international standard as a singer with a mind-blowing songwriting credit of more than 700 songs.
He worked with one of West Africa’s most successful choirs as songwriter, director and front man for more 10 years and performed in large audiences ranging from 5 thousand to 60 thousand people at different locations. He has also written and produced for many other artistes, bands, choirs, including few movies in Africa.
David is a combination of SOUL, RnB mixed with his sensational AFRO feeling and a Gospel background making him a special kind of artist.. Nevertheless, his specialization in the already-mentioned styles of music still allows him to express his skills successfully on other infused genres.. David’s wild gift of music is also evidently backed-up with the positive effects of his songs on his listeners. He works hard to make an impact with his artistry and his greatest passion in life is simply his music.
Also as an amazingly talented studio producer, David Onka writes, performs and produces all his songs by himself except the cover-songs which he didn’t write but only performed and produced. He mesmerizes his co-workers both in the studio and on live performances with his adorable music talent.
