Music: Baristar – “Aniewo”

Meet Umoekeyo Uno aka Baristar, from Nigeria. Baristar started singing at the age of 9 in his church children’s choir later went on to become the first children’s choir director. As a teenager, he was the best singer of the year 2003, Teenagers
Outreach Ministries (TOM). As a youth, he was the best singer of the year 2006, Flames Of Fire Association which is the youth fellowship of christian central chapel international (CCCI), calabar.

He discovered his songwriting skills in 2002 and has written lots of songs since then but professionally has been singing and recording songs since 2007. He has also worked with choirs such as gospel cheerers choir (CCCI), The Living voices, winners chapel, Ajaokuta as ministration team leader, Believers Loveworld aka Christ Embassy choir FUTMINNA, Niger
state as Choir Director and is presently a member of The Royal Praise Mass Choir, Unchanging word Ministries Calabar.

His debut album “IDENTITY” was released in November 2011 but two years later he decided to do a rebrand of the album with 2 new songs and called the album “IDENTITY+2”.

According to Baristar, he said “My mission is to be a blessing to generations and inspire people with the message of the gospel… To translate the basics of the gospel which are Faith, Hope and Love(1 cor 13:13) and to become a model to aspiring gospel music talents.

Off his latest album “IDENTITY +2″, here is ‘Aniewo” a song that talks about the awesome wonders of God’s hands.
