United States based Nigerian gospel artist and songwriter, Joy Okeke is set to release a brand new single titled “Name Jesus”. Born on February 28th in Lagos State-Nigeria, but hails from Enugu state in the eastern part of Nigeria. Joy is the firstborn of six children, and started singing when she was young. She is not only an artist, but a graduate of Business Administration. Specializing in banking and finance, from Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria, and also a bachelor’s degree in nursing from immaculata university Pa USA.

Her first album “The Anointed Joyful Praise” was released in 2018. The album consist of many uplifting Gospel songs that are still trending in the Nigerian Christian community till date. Her second album “Inspirational Kind Praise” was released in 2022 with more anointed songs.

“Name Jesus” is a song inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is a song that reminds us of how powerful and glorious the name of Jesus is. Most times when we go through things we don’t understand, the name of Jesus is the only power capable of bringing us out of whatever situation we find ourselves in, that’s why the Bible said that the name of the Lord is a strong tower the righteous runs in and they are safe.
