Baroe and Ozone are Houston, TX natives and were raised on the Southeast side of town, known as South Park often referred to as “Dead End”. God has proven to be the master of impossible and blocked the enemy’s plans for their destruction. Music was the deterrent that was used to steer their focus to become aware of the gift they possessed and eventually, it would lead them to being an operational asset of God’s Kingdom.
Baroe and Ozone connected at their church home, The Fountain of Praise, and made a commitment to collaborate with each other. After working together and eventually discovering an explosive chemistry and recognizing a strong anointing on their music, they began to share the same passion to represent the Gospel of Jesus Christ to their generation and beyond. Their passion has driven them to bring forth a brand new type of gospel music, Worship & Rhyme.
Since recently releasing their EP, “Worship And Rhyme, Vol.1,” The New Cool has proven to the Gospel Industry and the world, they are a force soon to be recognized. Worship and Rhyme successfully displays their ability to mix singing with rapping that appeals to the church audience, while captivating non-traditional church-goers from urban communities.
