Nigerian singer, songwriter, and composer Hiteecrown has released his latest single, “I Do,” a deeply personal love song inspired by patience, faith, divine timing, and the joy of finding a life partner.

More than just a romantic song, “I Do” tells the story of a man who waited in faith for the woman he believed God had prepared for him. When he eventually met her, the connection felt peaceful, natural, and divinely orchestrated.

Music, which was already an important part of their connection, became Hiteecrown’s language of love. Unable to fully capture his emotions with words alone, he turned to songwriting and composed “I Do” as a personal gift to his wife.

The song serves as his musical expression of gratitude for finding her and a declaration of his commitment to love, choose, and walk with her for a lifetime.

“‘I Do’ is my promise to her. It is my way of celebrating the woman I waited for and the love I found in her,” Hiteecrown shares.

The new release adds another chapter to Hiteecrown’s growing musical journey, following his earlier songs “All I Have” (2018) and “My Praise” (2019). “All I Have” was written and composed as an expression of appreciation to God, while “My Praise” focused on giving God the praise and worship He deserves.

With “I Do,” Hiteecrown explores another dimension of his artistry, transforming a deeply personal experience into a song that speaks to anyone who has waited, hoped, prayed, and eventually found love.

Through his music, Hiteecrown continues to draw from faith, love, gratitude, and real-life experiences to create heartfelt songs that tell authentic stories.

“I Do” is available now on major digital streaming platforms.

LYRICS

Verse 1
I didn’t rush, I didn’t run
I let the moment come
Every prayer, every sign
Led me to this time
When I see you standing there
I see my answered prayer

Bridge
For life, for love
For all my days
And all your days
I stand right here… yeah
I say I do and always do

Chorus
So take my hands
Take my name
Through every joy, through every pain
We will write a story
We will make it true
I say I do
I say I do

Verse 2
The sun will set, the moon will rise
Love won’t fade or compromise
Through the storms and skies of blue
It’s always me, it’s always you
I see forever in your eyes
The love that never dies

Bridge
For life, for love
For all my days
And all your days
I stand right here… yeah
I say I do and always do

Chorus ×2
So take my hands
Take my name
Through every joy, through every pain
We will write a story
We will make it true
I say I do
I say I do
