Gospel Singer, Author and songwriter, Sam Opeche is set to release the much anticipated single “O Jesus” on 26th March, and to mark this occasion fans can download a selection of his previous songs via Soundcloud. The RCCG worship leader has been continually making his mark in the gospel music genre since the release of his album, “‘We Enter In: A Journey Into Worship”. Having being nominated for UK Gospel Music Video Award for his song ‘I’ll Wait’ this year will be an unforgettable milestone in Sam Opeche’s musical journey.
‘Oh Jesus’ is a sing-along worship song in the Contemporary/Soft Rock Gospel genre, produced by Sam Opeche and ‘keyboard maestro’ Thimmy Abioye, and recorded by One Louder Studio. The song is simple yet atmosphere changing, with a powerful testimony behind it. The words demonstrate miracles, signs and wonders in his Christian faith. Inspiration includes worship experiences at home Church (RCCG Living Spring Centre) where Sam’s passion for ministry was ignited’.
As a songwriter, Sam is keen to project the influence that the cross of Jesus has had in his life since becoming a Christian, and this song like many that he has created shows that ‘The Cross’ is still very central to who he is. The song ‘O Jesus’ reverberates that loving, merciful, truthful, faithful and powerful name of Jesus in a way that is personal, not just to Sam but hopefully to his fans.
Sam Opeche recently concluded a very successful tour of the UK, Europe and Nigeria. During his tour, he had the privilege of ministering alongside gospel heavy weights such as (Muyiwa Olanrewaju, Gabriel Eziashi, Chris Morgan, Mike Aremu, Midnight Crew) at a number of mega churches in Lagos and Enugu, Nigeria; several sold out concerts in Germany at the AfroGospel Festival and at the “Connection Convention in Wroclaw, Poland. Sam has also ministered at the renowned London Festival of Life event at The Excel.
