Having a Father who is a Singer and a Mother who is Rapper. Larry Wilson is no stranger to talent. Born and raised in Minneapolis, MN, has always been known as a well-gifted & talented young man. The Larry Wilson has spent well over 20 years to build strong name for himself as being a standout in the overcrowded Twin Cities Hip Hop Market.
He began to pursue Hip Hop a age of 4 after winning a talent show at a local community event, music and entertainment became a dream for him. He developed his stage presence by performing on various stages throughout his childhood with his Father and Uncle who were in a well-established band in the Twin Cities.
As The Larry Wilson began approaching his teenage years, he aspired to be a Battle Rapper and Beatboxer before beginning to solely focus on songwriting. At the age of 17, he answered his calling to preach, causing him to make Urban Culture a part of his mission to spread the Gospel.
Since answering his call to the ministry, The Larry Wilson has had the opportunity to work with various community groups to organize and perform in major local events, be featured on MTV’s Hit Show “Made”, and share the stage with major Hip Hop acts such MC Lyte, Naughty By Nature, Freeway, Brother Ali, Toki Wright, and Atmosphere.
Outside of his various accomplishments in music, The Larry Wilson received has Degrees in Graphic Design and Information Technology. His most notable clients are B.Slade (formerly known as “Tonex”), XROSS, Jovonta Patton, and Universal Records.
