Artist Profile: Kemie is a Nigerian born, US based worship minister who bears a message for her generation, through the expression of music and writing. Having being on the stage since the age of five, she has humbly learned musically, singing with many different choir groups. Kemie was nicknamed ‘voicy’ for her passion for singing in her early years. She wrote her very first song at the age of twelve and hasn’t put the pen down ever since.
Kemie has been blessed by many mentors along the way; men and women that will be rewarded by God for standing strong with her and not giving up on her.
Kemie relocated with her family to the United States of America in 2006, and hasn’t stopped pursuing her dream about singing around the world to give God glory. Kemie prayerfully waited for timing and conviction by the Spirit of God.
Her first single; Thank you (Ese) is truly an inspiration and a heart of gratitude to her maker for giving her the fortitude to stand in spite of life’s challenges; to live and give Glory and Honor to His name. She hopes to be a blessing to as many as her music comes across.
Kemie’s album release is anticipated to be released March 2014.
