“Alewilese” is a praise song with a steady rhythmic progression. The Afrosoul single makes use of traditional musical elements and diction in its expression of praise to the Most High.
Tope Umossoh did not limit her reach with language barrier as she switches from the Yoruba language to Igbo and English. The use of conga and guitar give the song western High Life feel although more prominent is the Afrosoul genre.
