TnJ aka The Gem King can be best described as a proper music connoisseur, a hip hop protagonist, a moral advocate and very potently, a Christian music commentator.
He releases his first single for the year 2018, in commemoration of his birthday (31st of July) which occurred two days ago. After his previously released body of work in November 2017 (Hip Praise Hop Worship EP), he and his team, The Gem Kings, have worked tirelessly to promote the project online and offline. The release was followed by a 2month-long tour spanning over 4 states in Nigeria.
The rapper’s new single “Riches In Glory”, which was produced & engineered by ‘Frankie Free’, is more than a decent attempt at trap music. In fact, it is so phenomenally apt, that we know for sure that issa trap that would have you trapped in the Riches In Glory of the Lord.
The impressive use of wordplay, around the names of a few Nigerian banking institutions are skillfully wound into the verses of this song. So much so, that it is sure to keep you guessing as TnJ (@TnJeezy) takes you on a very smooth ride with flows ever so energetic till the very end.
