”IGNITE is the musical duo of Gboyega Alao and Jimmy Abidemi Junior, both excellent and talented vocalists in their own rights.
Gboyega is a graduate of Computer Science at the Lagos State University while Jimmy is a diploma graduate of Fine Arts from the Yaba College of Technology.
IGNITE’s vision is to reach lives globally with the message of hope, peace and the good news irrespective of color and creed with their songs while providing quality entertainment for their audience.
The group was founded in 2012 and they are set to take the music industry by storm with their contemporary yet afro-centric brand of music. They are launching their debut with two fresh singles, OTIKERE and MUJO JO
OTI-KERE is a mid-tempo highlife and groovy song that both encourage and entertain. It is set to inspire folks to be confident in themselves as what they have inside of them is greater than they can imagine.
MUJO JO however, is an up-beat afro-pop song extolling the awesome qualities of God. This one ought to get you dancing like you just don’t care.
