Gospel rock band, FootPrint5 has released a brand new single titled ”Ebube”. The single is off their upcoming album “Searching For Dimming Highways”.

”When it comes to Gospel Rock music in Nigeria, the name Footprint 5 stands out. With a vision of “Awakening people’s consciousness of reigning with Christ & taking His Kingdom Gospel to the Nations of the Earth”, the group’s focus is on “Equipping a generation of societal influencers as well as create an awareness of God’s love through Rock worship”. In their early years they developed uncommon interest for Rock music and began listening, imitating and playing the music of Casting Crown, Building 429, Swithfoot, RED, Mikeschair, Newsboys, Abandon, Colton Dixon and other Rock luminaries.
Their passion and gifts enveloped in God’s manifold Grace have brought them to great platforms across the Country. The Footprint stands for Christ with the ‘5’ representing the symbolic number for God’s Grace.
MEMBERS
Members of the group are: George Igado (aka George Rock) Vocalist & Acoustic Guitarist, Philip Sylvester (aka Saint Keys) Keyboards & background vocals, Kenneth Igado (Lead Guitars & background vocals), Clement Ehizokhale (Drums), Excellent Christopher (aka Ebaze) Bass and Mynorkord as their Producer.
HOW IT BEGAN
They met in the University of Benin and after discovering their common passion for music as well as experience in that line, decided to form a Rock band. Originally known as “Trinity Cross”, the new name came after God revealed it to Philip in a dream. According to him, he decided to add the ‘5’ to represent the Grace of God and is not there to represent the number of members.
Footprint 5 officially started on the 25thof December 2012.”
