AUDIO: Evy – ‘Akoko’ ||

Ogbor Blessing Evi better known by her stage name “EVY” is a singer/guitarist and a song writer. Evy was born in July 7 th 1992, native of isoko North, Delta state. She started singing at a young age in the choir, various music groups and musical bands.

Evy later got attracted to musical instruments and today, she is proficient at playing the guitar. When asked her genre of music, she says and in her words “I sing various kinds of music, I love to sing it the way I feel it, I do soul music, Christian hip-hop and rocks, urban contemporary and a fusion of African vibes”.

Evy just dropped her new single titled “AKOKO”. According to her, Akoko was inspired by the struggles and hardship people face today and the song seeks to encourage as many as are frustrated, broken in spirit, faced with one challenge or the other. “Don’t give up, weeping may endure for a night, joy will come in the morning”.

Evy is presently working on her album which will be released soon!
