As well as being a devoted wife, dedicated mother of four, gifted songwriter, author, public speaker, worship leader, Isabella is a uniquely anointed, multi-award winning Gospel recording artiste with an intense passion for God and people. Her warm, authentic and likable personality, coupled with her distinct ministry, has won people’s hearts and endeared her to supporters across racial, cultural, denominational and generational boundaries.
Since founding Isabella Melodies in 2009 with the release of her debut album, Lost Without You, Isabella has become a well-respected voice in the Gospel Music ministry both in the UK and Nigeria. To date, Isabella has released three excellent albums and is due to release two more albums shortly.
Isabella has been described as a vessel with an unusual anointing due to the uniqueness of her ministry. The BEFFTA nominated artiste refuses to be boxed into a certain genre of gospel music but continues to creatively deliver new, innovative sounds which defy the stereotypes. Her distinctive songs have earned her multiple awards, including Best Female Artiste in Diaspora (Nigeria Gospel Music Awards 2012), Woman of Praise Awards 2013 and Artiste of the Year, Europe (Africa Gospel Music Awards 2013). Some of her nominations include Best New Comer (GMA UK 2009), Best Female Artist in Diaspora (Crystal Awards 2013), Best Gospel Act (BEFFTA 2013), Outstanding Mother of the Year (Women 4 Africa 2013), Best Female Music Video in Diaspora (NGMVA 2013) and Best Female Artiste in Diaspora (NGMA 2013).
Isabella is the author of the best-selling book, ‘The Worshipper after the Father’s Heart’ which was released in August 2013. Isabella’s fervent love for the Lord and His people fuels her passion for service and her desire to equip the Body of Christ with the necessary tools to understand, develop and experience God-centred and God-directed worship. Isabella is also a teacher of the Word and she has recently established The Worshipper worship seminars, through which she mentors, coaches, teaches about worship to churches, worship teams, choirs and other groups.
Both Isabella and her husband are certified Christian marriage counsellors and she has a keen interest in health, fitness and well being. Isabella is a worship pastor in her home church.
