Latvia Based Reggae Artiste Dominion Man Releases ”One Gram of Happiness”
Dominic ‘Dominion man’ Okolue, is a Nigerian-born songwriter and singer based in Latvia. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Modern European Languages and a Master’s degree in Legal Text Translation in Nigeria and Latvia respectively. He speaks more than seven languages including English, French, Russian, Latvian, Italian, German, and Ibo.
Dominion man burst onto the music scene in 2009 with an ingenious and passionately rendered ‘Let the Fire Burn’, a fierce song that fires on about preaching the gospel relentlessly. A magnificent musical work played on live instruments by musicians from Man-Hu (the Latvian Christian rock band), back vocals by Marnie Hoover and produced by Valdis Indrishonoks: Latvia’s top-most gospel music singer, musician and songwriter. The Single was just a pedestal to greater things to come from Dominion Man.
The new 10-song album tagged One Gram of Happiness, has extraordinarily thumping reggae vibes that won’t leave you indifferent. Among the tracks of the album is Good Woman, nominated for The 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Latvia, a reggae-dancehall rhythm with a zest.
With a lot more great songs coming, Dominion man is geared to deliver the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ as well as nourish the church through powerful vibes. He aims to translate the current wave of popularity he is riding in Europe to recognition in Nigeria.
