Music: X4G (eXcellence for God) – “I’m For God”

The idea of starting a gospel rap group materialized somewhere in March 2012 for the X4G, with the initial members being Gyidi, M.Kharis, Pistis, and Jethro Cobby. Albidel, Abby-K and Nana G were later identified and joined the group. Initially the group was to be called D. M. C (Dynamic Minister’s Crew). At a meeting with their manager and life coach, he suggested the name X4G (meaning eXcellence for God) and it was accepted, with the name D.M.C being handed over to a sister contemporary gospel band. On the 14th of April 2012, TEAM X4G was unveiled with all the then seven members doing a freestyle at the National Youth Destiny Summit (Spring Session) which they called “Hello” thus introducing themselves to the body of Christ and the world.

Presently X4G is made up of four main members (Gyidi, M.Kharis, Pistis, and Jethro Cobby) and other collaborative members. The function of the collaborative members is mainly propagating the message of X4G, by ensuring that the various aspects of promoting the ministry of X4G are handled effectively and efficiently.

X4G is signed onto the record label, Gyidi Records with Apostle Vinny Max Bani as the executive producer and manager of the group. The group released their first single “I’m for God” on 4th July 2012, which enjoyed a lot of attention within a short period of time.

X4G is out to make an impact under the leadership of THE HOLY SPIRIT hence their catchword, “TOTAL WORLD DOMINATION WITH THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION”!!
