Robert E. Person without a doubt is one of the most super-sustaining, classically trained, authentically pure vocalists in Gospel and Inspirational Jazz music. The recent 2014 DMV Christian Music Award’s Artist of the Year recipient has a shelf full of independent music awards for his vocal performances of classics like “Someday We’ll All Be Free” and “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” and his original works “Clap Your Hands” and newest hit “Testify”.
Robert is preparing his February 2015 CD release LOVE DIVINE and has released a visually striking lyric video to his rapidly rising radio single “Testify”. “Testify”, written by Ayesha Daniels and arranged by Robert and Jazz pianist Allyn Johnson, is an immaculate celebratory musical expression of the gratitude of God’s Love Divine.
Robert is also packing his bags for international travel. Robert will be touring Italy singing with Mike McCoy and Voices United. The group will minister throughout Italy December 12 – 23 with concerts in Porto Sant’Elpidio, Como, Genova, Torino, Vignola, Milan and Rome.
