Artiste Profile:

Deborah Moncrief is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she has been actively involved in the Music Community, both religious and secular. Her gift of music was first noticed at the age of six. It was at that time when she became serious about singing and took an interest in playing piano. Deborah later received vocal training as well as completed several courses of music from local college. To add to her educational growth, she continued her studies and received her Associates Degree in Science. Currently, Deborah serves as the Director of Music at the Central Baptist Church of Pittsburgh, PA. Coming from a very musical family and being a musical innovator, Deborah, has formed several Gospel groups and has vocally developed, trained and mentored many.

She is also an owner of an international traveling music company called The RenBurn Music Group. The mission of The Renburn Group is to provide and promote universal peace, love and harmony through music, mentoring, education and training to mankind. The Renburn Group is a company committed to the purpose of spreading the Gospel through international musical concerts, tours and training seminars.

Her love for Gospel music has afforded her opportunities to record and work with such Gospel greats as Marvin Winans, Vicky Winans, Daryl Coley, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Yolanda Adams, the late Dannibelle Hall and Rev. James Moore.

She has extensively toured Europe, the U. S. and Canada. Her musical talents have been showcased at the  following local and national events; A Christmas Celebration at the Kennedy Center, Washington DC; President Obama’s Pittsburgh’s campaign rally; Cancer Awareness Prayer Brunch, hosted by the African American Women’s Speakers Bureau; Milan, Italy’s Gospel Connections Annual Workshops, as Clinician for Masters Vocal class; and the and the Light and Darkness Benefit Telethon in Frankfurt, Germany

She has previously served as the Minister of Music of Central Baptist Church as well as the Minister of Worship and Choir Director at the Mount Ararat Baptist Church both in Pittsburgh, PA, recorded with a “4 the Caz of Christ” under the leadership of Trini L. Massie and she continues to be one of Pittsburgh’s premiere soloists. Currently, she is working on the release of her debut cd.

Deborah is married to Pastor Keith Moncrief, the mother of three daughters, Krystyn, Aryka and LaNelle; and grandmother of three. Deborah believes that her strong faith requires that she offers excellence in every area of her life and she strives to do just that.
