The tune and the message of the song had been with KeeCollins for a few years on end, but the words that fit them never came out to life until the past year, when some events (most of which were predictably unfortunate) seemed to slowly, but surely, blot out the place of God in his life.
So, KC came out defiantly out of his troubles with the pledge that no one will take God’s place in his life. This pledge formed the flesh of the tune he always had, and became a song: a song and a pledge we should all be ready to make every day of our lives if we truly love God.
Born as a true Nigerian in every sense of the word, KeeCollins holds his tertiary academic degree in Physics, but has always found fulfillment in proliferating God’s praise. He did so by releasing his first single ‘ There’s nothing you can’t do’ in the Dusk of 2015, and has consistently produced sounds of the highest quality across genres, through tunes like “Miracles’, ‘Quench this Thirst’ and ‘So Loving’ where he applied his proficiency in contemporary-styled songs alongside big names like FootPrint5, while he has also come closer to home with potential hits like ‘Da’bere’ and ‘Da’alu’ in the works.
So, after what has been a rough year where he has experienced some personal tragedy that could have driven him to despair, KeeCollins explores his cheekiness, skill and unquestionable talent with a melody of pure worship in ‘No One Else’.
