Gospel singer and Apostle, Busola Jegede releases two new videos from her “JUBILEE+” album.
“Be Lifted” emphasizes the need to shift focus from self and experience the advantages of close proximity to God’s presence. This we can come about when we lift up Jesus, as the bible says; “If I am lifted up, I will draw all men unto me.” – John 12:32
“Emi Mimo” translates Holy Spirit in Yoruba is a song of appreciation. We all need the Holy Spirit. Our Christian walk will be difficult without the Holy Spirit because He is our helper, comforter and teacher.
Busola Jegede is an ordained Apostle with a strong prophetic unction. She is the Founder of Daughters of Destiny Interdenominational Fellowship which organises free medical health checks for indigent Women, also screening for Breast and Cervical cancer. She has a divine apostolic mandate to raise women as intercessors for the family and nation in different locations.
“Be Lifted” the video was directed by Osacraft, while “Emi Mimo” was directed by TOLUccI.
Terrorism, tribalism, religious extremism and racism; these vices have risen to an all time high and we are all guilty. We might claim not to be perpetrators of these acts because truthfully, we are neither involved nor are we affected by them.
But let’s take a moment to ponder and see if our hands are clean.
– Have we raised our voice to condemn these barbaric deeds of terror? Or we chose to keep mute because they haven’t touched us yet?
– Are we hearing the cries of children and women, the immediate and remote victims of war and chaos? Or we have a good reason to justify this deafening silence?
– Have we opened our hearts to support charity and humanitarian efforts to help the afflicted? Or have our minds been sealed, our consciences killed and our feelings gone numb?
– Are we seeing the decay, the rot, the eroding of everything good? Or do we turn a blind eye to the obvious and focus on entertainment, sports and vain music?
Talking about music, one of the fastest ways to convey any message, has been polluted by the get-rich-quick-by-selling-sex gang. It’s time to take it back and use it for its right purpose.

Worship is mostly about beholding the awesomeness of the Supreme One and when we begin to see the undistorted image of God, we can begin to see ourselves the way we are truly held in His eyes. The Golden Voice, Chris Shalom has crafted the perfect worship song that paints the perfect picture of our reflection looking through the eyes of God.
From the ”Worship in Every Place” series, comes the amazing work ‘My Beautifier’ by Chris Shalom. An alluring expression of the Zoe kind of life, which can only be given by the finished work of Jesus. It is the first release from the series and Chris Shalom has hinted that more should be expected in the course of the year.
Quite typical of the Golden Voice, it is a simple sing along worship song but laced with Afrocentric rhythm and an accentuated lead guitar. Also, one cannot undermine the essence of the background vocals.
“For Every Pain and for every shame, Jesus has brought a turn around. He is given you beauty for ashes and clothing you with a garment of praise.” – Chris Shalom
