The song #Emimimo, (Holy Spirit) by GUC is coined out of the desire and hunger for a strong revival in the world system and the church.
Coldness has gripped the few and as Christians we are directed to raise up a sound that will cause a deep cry In the hearts of many.
The Azusa Street Revival was a historic Pentecostal revival meeting that took place in Los Angeles, California and is the origin of the Pentecostal movement. It was led by William J. Seymour, an African American preacher. It began with a meeting on April 9, 1906, and continued until now. The revival was characterized by ecstatic spiritual experiences accompanied by amazing physical healing miracles, dramatic worship services, speaking in tongues, and inter-racial mingling. The participants were criticized by the secular media and Christian theologians for behaviors considered to be outrageous and unorthodox, especially at the time. Today, the revival is considered by historians to be the primary catalyst for the spread of Pentecostalism in the 20th century.
GUC the seasoned minister has decided to go deep in the local yoruba Nigerian dialect.
With his vocal dexterity and clinical delivery, he and his team, join the cry of the many saints out there to stir the fire in the body of Christ by the power of the Holy Ghost.
#Emimimo is a song for all.
